Hi, my name is Nick Millwood. For the past 10 years, I have been the Mayor of the City of Ringgold, Ga. We have politically remade our city and inspired generational changes to our downtown and recreational areas. Our record of maintaining a low millage rate while aggressively pursuing grants and funding opportunities is an example to the entire region of what is possible when there is a strong team in place. As a teacher, I have been closely connected to our community for the past 17 years. I am currently running to be your next State Representative and represent Catoosa County at our state capitol. My goals are to help strengthen what is widely recognized as one of the best school systems in the area, find solutions to rising property taxes, and protect our electoral and public influence from those who would take that power from the citizens. My community has enabled me to meaningfully contribute and to raise my beautiful family. I am now ready to serve this community for all of us at our state capitol.
